Mac OS X - Midi Panic Button

What's the system level key that will allow me to send signal off/reset
to my midi devices? Surely we can make this painless.

I quit Logic when it's being flaky, and if there is a midi-on message
pending, it continues to below. Logic is confused and can't be stopped
prior to exit of the program, so don't go there.

Just a simple midi reset. What's it? Where's it?

There ain't one. A freeware app called MidiKeys for OS X has a "Send
All Notes Off" menu item. Might want to try that.

Thanks for the tip.

Jeez there oughta be a functional "Midi for OS X" newsgroup. I've been
learning some hard-fought lessons through trial and error about how
midi does and since acquisition of logic 5 and it's bucket of
conflicting documentation.
