I felt alot of frustration, and initially went to great lenghts to convert .spc to .wav. UNTIL NOW!! It's so easy it'll make you laugh! first, you need Nullsoft's Winamp, any version prior to 3.0. That's all you need! Winamp has a built in plugin called disc writer, and any song it can play, it can convert to .wav format. It's lossless, and simple.

Procedure; open winamp options, and click preferences.
On the left column, click output, and then the column on the right will show four output plugins. wave out, (intitial setting), outputs sound via your sound card, select the plugin nullsoft discwriter plugin, hit configure, and choose the directory where you would like your converted .wav files to go.
Hit ok, close preferences, and load the spc tracks (or any other tracks) you wish to convert, and hit play. You'll see winamp zoom through the tracks, with no sound output, it's simply doing what you want it to do, It's so easy!
After converting, make sure to change your plugin back to wave-out, or everything you play will be converted to wav, and no song will play, and your computer will quickly fill it's self up!

I love game music, I have encoded dozens of super nintnedo soundtracks, and the best part about converting them in winamp, is when you set the equalizer, it applies the settings in the outputted wav file!! if you want a bassy or crisper souding spc file, change your eq settings and convert! I hope this info helps you out as much as I, enjoy the music.
