Thanks! No, unfortunately as yet there's really no commercially available software I'm aware of that can do this reliably. One interesting app. is Melodyne This can analyse MONOPHONIC audio files (e.g. a guitar solo) and transcribe the results as standard notation (not tab, as far as I'm aware). Its an amazing program tho, you can do loads of stuff to the audio you put in it.
