Problems w/ audion extraction in Toast

I am currently using Toast 3.5.4 with my Mitsubishi
4x12 burner. When I extract the Audio I get random
pops in the sound even with brand new CD's. These pops
are completely random and can be removed by re-extracting
This is a great inconvenience because I ave to listen to
the whole CD on my computer before recording. Any
solutions?
