As for putting 2 soundcards in the same machine, You need to either get 2 cards that have drivers that support multiple cards. Of get 2 cards that use entirely different drivers. I have in my system: A Soundblaster Live (Cool), an AWE32 with 16meg onboard (Noisy) and a yamaha DB50XG (Nice). Hope any of this helps.

What about using generic type full duplex sound cards, are they any good?
