MPU-401 Compatible MIDI driver

My current puter is my bro's. It came with nothing, not even a recovery disk. So just puter, thats it. Days ago I caught virus through Imesh :-( so I reinstalled it this morning, but I forgot abt the sound card driver...

So, here I am. with brand new operating system (XP Pro) and formatted puter but no sound coming outta my speaker (*sad*).

Could anyone tell me where to download MPU-401 driver? and how to install it?

The chances are that you simply need to reintall the drivers for your sound card - do you know what sound card you have?
