problems with encore & windows xp Click Here to Report this message to the Moderator Posted by Hugo Garcia Sampedro (from: 200.43.214.12) on November 24, 2004 at 12:28:20: Hello I switched from win 98se to xp some months ago and I’m having problems to run any version of encore (the old Passport ones) or de newer GVOX Encore 4.5 The problem consists in that when I run encore the computer processor (a Celeron 2.0 with an Intel motherboard), began to get hotter and hotter to a temperature that goes beyond the recommendable limits and the alarms began to sound, the alert screen messages began to pop up continuously and I need to exit encore, and did that immediately thing returns to all normal values. I must say that all the other soft runs correctly in this machine without any problem (cubase, sonar, soundforge, reason, etc. etc.) … So why encore made all this trouble?
