The Roland s-50 is mute. It requires a system 2 disk to boot it and then you have to sample. I don't know of any free manuals. I wrote to Roland in Wales and they sent me a disk. It didn't work but a copy did! You used to be able to download the file s5520.zip I think it is. I may be able to email you the file if you can't get it. : I've recently been given a roland s-50 that appears to be in decent shape but for one small problem: it came with no program disk or instructions. : I'm wondering if anyone could provide me with any information on how I could get a program disk for this unit.
