: Funny you mention it: I bought a DJX on the weekend and i love it. For the price it really kicks. I run it with cubase VST and so far everything works well. It sends all Midi parameters such as velocity, pitch bend, ribbon controller etc and cubase records it. With Mac i have no idea unfortunately....
: Hope you get it working....

i am using a djx and cubasis on a 486. I had loads of problems getting it all working, i havve had it for 3 months and i still have problems. My main problem was that i did not have the correct midi driver files for the soundcard- they had to be down loaded form the steinberg web page. The problem i have now is midi delay from hitting a key on the djx and the information being received. one thing that has been consistent with my set up is inconsistency. ie. i never know for how long it will work etc. Thats why i have decided to speng my student loan on a hardware sequencer the RM1x should be getting that in the next couple of days. My advice to you is to phone Yamaha tech support and your software support. Keep at it you'll get there eventually...paul
