: Does anyone know of any software which extracts vocals from Songs. I am into remixing and am after some software to grab just the vocals so that I can mix them with other beats.
: Cheers
The best way I find to cut out the vocals is with a mixing desk and a graphic equaliser.
This either means plugging into your home stereo or buying some propper kit.
Turn off the bass and most of the treble then experiment with the mid range frequencies.
Let me know if you find a program that does this, Cool Edit 96 has a little mixer in it but it is
quite crappy compaired to the real thing.
