: I converted some mps to wav with Winamp, but when I burned it and listen to it some songs are loud and some are soft.
: What can I do to the wav files before I burn them so there all even.
: I need some good tips,I've burned a few with all the top software and they all pretty much sound like shit.
: Thanks alot for the help.
Hi
mp3 is an inferior sound quality. It is highly compressed therefore: Sounds like shit compared to CDA. When you use winamp to convert it back to .wav it will still sound like an mp3, because when it got converted to mp3 originally a lot of data is lost that cant be restored. People rave on about mp3 quality, but i can hear a distinct difference between high fidelity and mp3. The loudness difference you can probably fix using a wave editor such as soundforge or wavelab and chose "normalize" function.
