: I HAVE A PC WITH WINDOWS 95 AND A YAMAHA PSR 530 KEYBOARD. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD MIDI FILES AND HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING SO?

Hi jack,
it helps if you were a little more specific, ie if you want to download midi files you dont need anything exept for an internet connection. Or do you mean download from the keyboard??
Well if you want to MAKE your own midifiles you need a midi recording software or sequencer such as cubase or cakewalk and a midi capable soundcard in your pc and a cable that connects PC to your midi out on PSR530. Just hit record and off you go...
you can emial me for more info felix@bb.com.au
