: After I plugged my electric guitar to my computer, i was able to record using windows' "sound recorder" but i wasn't able to record using cakewalk pro audio 8!!!
: I'd really appreciate it if anyone can help me out, thanx in advance!!!!

Hi,
2 aspects should be noticed.

1) u should configurate your sound card.
u need to manually select record from line-in
or mic-in in most sound card.
2) Configurate your cakewalk 8.
IN the tool bar, there's an option called
audio hardware. Follow the instruction that
it give.(SEE HELP)

Yup.
