Looking for vitural guitar and or heavy distortion effects

i am looking for a vitrual guitar and heavy distortion effects, as if to play metal genre. Also a recommended drum machine and virtual bass...i want this to sound some what realistic. Please help me and tell me what software is good to do this.

Good Luck I searched for a month straight and found nothing for a virtual guitar. If your into sound editing & synthesizers, you can use a program called tb404. It's a bass emulator like what Trent Reznor of NIN fame uses in some songs you can find a link on the hammerhead homepage, which is a really great freeeware drum machine. All this stuff is freeware. goto hotbot.com and type "hammerhead offical" in the searchbox...I can't remember the adress...
