The sound card doesn't have midi ports, that's why I'm confused! The sound card has a plug that would *receive* a plug with two rows of pins (one row = 6 pins, next row = 7 pins) In other words, the receiver has 14 holes.

This is nothing like the normal midi IN and OUT & the MIDI leads I currently have, which I used with my old computer (ATARI 1040 ST).
