WAV to MIDI? Inputs needed for Cakewalk?

Hey all-

I got Cakewalk home studio V8, but I don't have any MIDI instruments, just analog guitar and bass, and a REALLY old electric organ. My plan was to just record my stuff on my cassette 4-track, then play it into the computer, but I can't figure out how to get it into MIDI format so cakewalk can recognize it. Do I need some kind of hardware to convert to MIDI, or can I record the stuff as WAV and convert it internally? PLEASE, PLEASE help, I'm getting really frusterated. Thanx!
