whenever i used to put an audio cd in the cd rom drive it would list the contents as track01.cda etc.
Now for some reason it shows two sub directories...
mono & stereo. underneath these dir are two more...
8 bit & 16 bit. underneath thesedir are 3 more...
11025hz 22050hz & 44100hz... Now, in these last directories there is a track list (track01 etc) but they are in wav form and are full size files. icopied the 44100hz contents to the hard drive and they played just as pcm wavs. iconverted them to mp3 and they work just fine. why is this so?? what it means is that i don,t have to rip tracks from the cd,s any more i can just make mp3's straight from the wav file on the audio cd. i have never seen this before...
