Bass guitar program?

Hi...i'm completely new to computer music production. My brother does lotsa samples and computer music stuff and he's got lotsa programs but mainly for mastering and samples and the likes for creating u know, dance music.

I play guitar and i'm trying to record guitar and hopefully create some music with a 'digital' band.

I've d/l some guitar FX prgrams for guitar, and drum machine programs. The truth is, i have got no midi-keyboard or mixer and any shit. all i have is a 450 Pentium III computer.

the only thing i am missing now is some sort of bass guitar program for creating bass guitar parts. i am not talking abt techno kind of bass robotic sounds...i am talking real bass guitar tone. if u know of any program like that, pls lemme know.

ALSO, if u can help me get started on recording guitar straight into the computer, and what programs i should d/l and get(pirated..i guesshah)...pls leemme knoe.
