In Reply to: Autoscore software posted by Roger Day on December 28, 1999 at 06:51:12: Thank you for your interest in Autoscore! Autoscore Deluxe and Professional are complete packages and come with a microphone and a sequencing program. Autoscore will take any single-line of music (no chords) coming in through the microphone and convert it into MIDI. The MIDI data is then sent to the sequencing program where you can edit it, play it back, and print it out. You can record additional tracks on top and hear them all play back either on your soundcard or on an external synthesizer. Both Recording Session and Cakewalk Home Studio allow you to print the music and add a lyrics to a track. Both versions have extermely limited audio capabilities as their purpose is MIDI sequencing. They allow a simple recording (no editing) or you can import an audio file (.wav) into your file. If you have any other questions, please contact us via email or visit our website. : I would like to know what autoscore is capable of and what the accompanying sequencer software is like.
