Hi all

I had the same problem, finally i found a page in Germany with the drivers(the real thing), have them installed and works fine. Just put the downloaded file in a empty folder and dklick, then run setup, reboot.

Writer Error: Buffer underrun occured. I keep receiving this message when trying to make audio CDs. I usally get two songs on before it occures. can someone help me.

I burned a CD-R and a CD-RW. (Data files). I can only open the files in the hp 7200 writer. cannot open the files on any other computer. CD settings shows the cd is "LOCKED". Why? and how to fix this?

Soy poseedor de un cd-writer plus 7200 y por error se me borraron los archivos para la configuración del puerto paralelo y además el archivo etapap9x.mpd, como puedo conseguir estos instaladores por favor ayudenme.

look ing for the same software for the same reason...(cant find cd-writer Plus disks)
Hp has some software so you can run it on win2000
but you need to do a frimware upgrade, so you download that file and find out you need the software that came with the drive to install the firmware, so your back to looking around the internet for the software.......

any help?

I have recently purchased a 7200e and am having the same problems as you had.

have you been successful ? I changed my system to win2000 and have the same problem. Manufactorers don´t support.
