Simple recording software? Posted by J Janssen (from: 195.96.97.236) on February 26, 2000 at 20:09:50: As a project for my parents, I'm trying to get some old quarter-inch reel-to-reel tapes transferred to CD. Now, a single side of one tape is around 1 gigabyte worth of WAV data, and the programs I've been trying don't handle that kind of data (cause I don't have a gig of RAM). What I need is a program that will record huge WAVs, and split them into separate tracks. And if at all possible, I'd like to use a freeware program to do it. Can anyone help?
