using wav as midi sound Posted by SS (from: 209.252.48.103) on April 28, 2000 at 21:40:43: Is it possible to take a sound recorded as a wav file and make it availble as a midi sound? I've heard about these ROM cards that provide additional sounds for synths, but I don't have a fancy synth. I have a keyboard controller (fatar studio 610), an external sound module I hook it up to (roland sound canvas SD-35 which has excellent quality GS midi sounds), and of course my trusty PC. Can I use midi mapper to do this? Is this what is referred to as a "patch" or is that something different?
