In Reply to: Re: output to cd recorder from speaker port posted by John E Hayes on April 29, 2000 at 20:59:23: If this will all be done on one computer, your best off to write the CD from teh computer, instead of from the tape. as for getting it to tape, you need a cable to go from the audio out of your soundcard to the audio in of the tape, set your levels for volume, and play the music, and put the tape on record. : : can anybody help me with the following problem. i would like to record songs from the outport jack on my pc and record them on a cassette recorder. can anybody tell me what kind of connection i need and how to set it up. also once i get the songs recorded onto cassette is there any way i can record the songs from the cd cassette onto a cd-r si i can end up with a cd that will play in any cd player. i dont know if there is such a thing as a portable cd-r drive on not that does not have to be installed in a computer to work. any help you can give me on working this will be greatly appreciated. thanks to all.
