In Reply to: VST MIDI stumper posted by Lowdevil on July 30, 2000 at 14:58:57: I would recommend reinstalling your OS. I HATE WINDOWS because it is so unstable, and I have to reinstall it every 6 months or so. My setup isn't as sophistacated as yours, but it gets used a lot. Reason to recommend reinstalling OS: I bought a 400 Mhz AMD K6-2 with 128MB RAM, SBLive! and an IBM 14.4 gig 7200 RPM HDD (fastest at the time before going to SCSI). It came with Windows 98 OEM installed. Cut to the chase: when I recorded digital audio every where else EXCEPT sound recorder, I got these annoying clicks in the audio. Servicemen came out to my house four times, they replaced everything in the machine one piece at a time, then shipped it out to California. The people at Creative Labs didn't know why this was happening. I was to the point of throwing my hands up. I got Windows 98 full and installed that. Clicking was gone. I reinstall my OS every 6 months or so when it starts to lock up too much. Peace Follow Ups: Post a Followup
