mp3 to chord/note converter

Dear everybody,

Is that possible for me to get a mp3 to music chord or music note converter directly?

If possible, where I can get the software?

If not possible, can anybody tell me how to achieve what I need (is ok for me to take more steps)?

By the way, I'm just a beginner, :).

If you are meaning MP3 file to sheet music, you must convert MP3 to WAV and then to MIDI and then
use software to interpret the MIDI to notation. You see it is a long process.

MP3 to WAV you need a decoder
WAV to MIDI is a pain and will only work with single instrument
MIDI to notation is easy with right software

What about playing the MP3 yourself on a keyboard MIDI input to the
notation software. Some even write the notation as you play.

Is there a midi to notation software for MACintosh I have been looking for one for a very long time... HELP :G
