The whole process of creating a cd Posted by Debbie Livingstone (from: 20.6.77.248) on August 30, 2000 at 09:23:35: I have been fooling around trying to make my own cd. I have Napstered the songs, and sent them to storage where I can access them from home. You see, the problem at work, is that the CD Rom is an external drive (Dell Latitude) and I cannot get the PC to recognize the drive, says it's empty, insert disk. What do I have to do? Download some software, I hear all about converting the M3U files to MP3 or WAV files in order to transfer to disk. But I really don't understand. I tried Nero to burn the files onto the disk, but it still does not recognize the disk in the drive. PLEASE HELP ME, GUIDE ME STEP BY STEP AND I'LL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL! Follow Ups: Ahem...
