Also kyle you can record a single guitar with the inbulit microsoft sound recorder (if u are on windows!). As a novice u could try using freeware sequencers to see how u get on then consider making a purchase for a better (usually!) sequencer. Try www.sonicspot.com for a great list of demos/freeware midi/audio sequencers. TIP - Data Becker's Music Centre Pro is EXCELLENT for audio and only 30 UK pounds. steve
