In Reply to: Converting wrk files to midi posted by Mark Arendse on September 30, 2000 at 20:43:36: .wrk files are the format that Cakewalk writes. The easiest way to convert them to midi is through Cakewalk. Open the .wrk file in Cakewalk then goto "save as". Pull down the "save as type" menu and select the file type "MIDI format 1" then press "save" this will save the file as a midi file with the same name as the .wrk file (type in a new name first if you want a different one). Obviously if you don't have a version of Cakewalk, you're stuffed! I do not know of a file converter that will do it (although there may be one - check out the shareware on the hitsquad site) If you are really stuck, you could always mail your wrk files to me and I will convert them for you!
