VST Instrument Latency... ALSO: Rewire

Posted by Bloom on Tue, 10/31/00 - 19:38:11.

Hi.

I'm running Cubase VST/32 5.0 with a Midiman Delta 1010 interface.

I've had great success with all live audio applications (2-3ms latency) and Gigasampler (same), but the freaking VST instruments have about a 1 second latency. It's useless. I've tried changing the buffer settings, to no avail. I have the latest MAudio ASIO drivers. I REALLY want to use Native Instruments PRO-52!!! Can I do it from within VST?

Pro-52 is also a standalone program, so maybe...

ALSO:

How do I get Pro-52 or Gigasampler to appear in my REWIRE panel?
Is there a list of compatible programs or a process to use it? The VST documentation is useless in this respect.

Thanks for any help!

Re: VST Instrument Latency... ALSO: Rewire

I had the same problem, for days and night i been trying to solve this issue. I am using the M Audio delta 66. I tried using a new software by steinberg called Nuendo it the same as cubase vst, but it has video formatting capabilities. The latency issue is now solved. I now use all my vst instrument which many. Furthermore remember to check the setting if you decide to use Nuendo.
