Opcode Midi Translator PC

Has anybody had success with getting the Opcode Midi Translator PC parallel interface module to work with Windows 98SE. I have tried all parallel port settings (spp, epp, ecp) and none of them work. Opcode is out of business, but still selling on the net. Gibson has purchased the company, but doesn't care about the Opcode customers needing updated drivers for what is now an expensive piece of junk. The current drivers only work with Windows 95. I'd appreciate any help.

I have the same damn problem with MidiEngine 8port/SE and Win98. I also am looking for updated drivers. Please email me, anyone, if you have info.

the damm thing is a piece of dog poop!!!
I've had the little turd since pre-y2k melt down
days. 1997 and the thing would not work with 95 at all..
