Check out Goldwave for recording your riffs and check out Multiquence for putting it all together. These 2 programs should run just fine on your 166. I used to remix with a 75mhz Packard Bell using this software. : I am about to become the owner of a Packard bell Pentium 166mmx, 32meg RAM, 6.2GB Hard, 16bit Sound and want to run some form of easy to use studio software.
