In Reply to: Volume levels of midi playback posted by Tom on November 30, 2000 at 20:50:21: Sounds weird. What notes are you playing the same?? 2 sounds ARE louder than one even if it's the same sound by volume but if you send 'note ON' messages to a midi module that are played at the same time using the same sound then you may not get the same volume. I don't understand playing the same note on the same sound at the same velocity, why? Most Midi sequencers will allow you to 'Velocity Limit' the Midi information. I don't know your software package but it should by rights be there. You could limit the velocity on THAT note to say 100 or less. Explain your problem deeper and to my E-mail address AS WELL as to the Forum.
