Cubase 5 and emagic MT4

I am having trouble using my newly bought computer, runnig Cubase VST 24 bit version 5, with an emagic MT4 midi interface. The transport bar gets stuck in play/record, and the program kind of crashes and won't shut down. I'm not 100% sure what the problem is, but I think it is the drivers for the MT4. Sound familiar to anyone? Are there any other drivers that might work, or can anyone think of any other possible solution. Thanks for your help.

I have this same setup, and the same problem. Cubase works fine before the MT-4 drivers are installed. Afterwards, I can play a song once, then the transport gets stuck etc. Not sure what to do besides ditch the Mt4
