I would like to keep my future home studio as virtual as possible. So,as I still have loads of sample CDs... I think most of my sounds including drums/perc would be up for some good sampler type manipulation. For instance, time stretching, filtering, layering etc, controller assignable. If you could point me in that direction, I would appreceiate it. If the PC based samplers have not yet overtaken the modular samplers, then I would consider getting one again. I agree that one controller keyboard would be sufficiant, but would have to be aftertouch and velocity sensitive as well as polyphonic, obviously. Thanks again for your help. Sorry....If it seems as if I have been in a cave for the past 6 years or so....hehe. Ricky
