: I'm using my tape deck as source, to sound card on PC. When recording to hard disk using Music Match Jukebox or AIPL, the sound starts 'skipping' or dropping out, especially towards the end of the file. Tried using the software correction switches and that helps somewhat but not totally. The files are about a meg and a half. It's extremely frustrating to have to re-record over and over. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! sounds like a memory problem to me. i would try also, some of the noise could be the physics of you can buy blank minidiscs anywhere in japan, Follow Ups:
