This means if you want to use mc dsps exquisite eq's, or reaktor in the pro tools environment mac is your only choice. Get the fastest one you cann afford and put in 256 or even better 512 megs of ram. Cubase doesnt run well on the 001. Digidesign doesnt have "real" asio drivers, just some makeshift b.s. with 30 ms. latency. Logic, on the other hand runs just fine because it uses direct i/o. Youll need a 7200 rpm, or fatser hd. You dont really need scsi, ide will do. When you get your 001 I highly reccomend the mcdsp filter and comperssorbank plug ins.
