Program any beat rock,funk,even alittle teckno jazz ,whatever as you move the lever it will swing the beat.Anything above a degree of 60% will give a hiphop feel to any drumbeat. Basically it's a 16th note shuffle rhythm. If you have a midi sequencer and know how to make a 8th note shuffle for blues and jazz swing changing the 8th note setting to 16th notes will give a hiphop feel. You do this through the quintize(sorry if I mispelled it.) feature.
