: : Who has a recipe or template for using fruity loops to Dan if You look near the volume and filter controls in the top right corner of the fruityloop interface ,you will see a lever setting called swing you might have to put your mouse on it and it will say swing. Program any beat rock, funk, even alittle teckno jazz ,whatever as you move the lever it will swing the beat.Anything above a degree of 60% will give a hiphop feel to any drumbeat. Basically it's a 16th note shuffle rhythm. If you have a midi sequencer and know how to make a 8th note shuffle for blues and jazz swing changing the 8th note setting to 16th notes will give a hiphop feel. You do this through the quintize(sorry if I mispelled it.) feature.
