HIT SQUAD "ODYSSEY CONTEST" CHEATS Posted by Ronald Silverlight (from: 148.74.251.192) on May 30, 2001 at 12:05:08: 2 days before the end of the "odyssey" contest--Hitsquad decides to change in "mid-stream" and EXTEND the closing date of the contest. Since the beginning--(May 1st)--EVERYONE knew the contest would conclude on May 31st---now-- just 2 days before the end of this "contest"--Hitsquad decides to extend The deadline to June 8th----------THATS A BUNCH OF BULL !! This is a VERY UNFAIR practice to change the rules in "mid-stream"!! I--as well as MANY others--have been working ourselves to death promoteing this contest-- and ALL knew it was to end on May 31st.....for AN ENTIRE MONTH WE ALL KNEW--and now--- just 2 days before it ends---someone decides-- "Hey--Lets extend the deadline" ?? YOUR creditability is SHOT as a site if your proceed with this----you have done the Artist ( the people who BUY from you)as well as yourselves a GREAT DISERVICE and have literally CHEATED people of their HARD WORK----i am sooo disappointed in what surely will be termed CHEATSQUAD in the future. Musicians Friend Corporate will most certainly be hearing about this---it BAD publicity for THEM----how DARE YOU PEOPLE change the rules---not to mention just 2 days before the conclusion of the supposed "contest" ??----where even the ARTIST themselves have no idea as to how they are proceeding in the voteing. 450 entrants times the HUNDREDS of contacts they each have--will surely make a negitive impact for your site when the news travels around---and believe me--it WILL travel. Creditabilty is EVERYTHING on the internet--and when you conduct yourself otherwise--you lose TRUST---you lost TRUST--you lose traffic--and as an internet site-- you loose traffic-- and you fold.
