: Hi, I sometimes have the problem with Cake that when recording a track (wave), it doesn't replay the midi-drums in time with one pre-recorded audio-track. : Another problem, less irritating: during recording of an audio-track Cake 'hangs'. It sometimes quits recording the track. : : You will always get problems trying to run Pro Audio 8 on a 166 pc. You should either upgrade to a Pentium 2 or use Pro Audio 6 for a better performance. With regard to the timing, set it to take the time from audio; this may help. : : :P.S. When recording audio, use low latency and (using ctrl+alt+del to bring up the dialog box) see what other programs are running on your pc and close down anything that isn't absolutely necessary.
