Roland ep-7 digital piano midi setup

Hi,
My sister gave me her Roland ep-7 digital piano, which I'd like to attach to my computer as a keyboard controller...for stuff like Fruityloops and other software synths. I attached the midi ports to the midi/joystick port, but nothing happens.
Do I need a driver? I tried Roland's site, but found nothing. Any suggestions?

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CONNECT USING TO YOUR PC. I DO. YOU NEED AN INTERFACE CAPABLE OF TRANSMITTING AND SENDING MIDI DATA. IF YOU HAVE ONE, THEN YOU NEED TWO MIDI CABLES.

CONNECT AS FOLLOWS: MIDI OUT TO MIDI IN FROM YOUR KEYBAORD. AND MIDI OUT TO MIDI IN FROM YOUR COMPUTER.

REMEMBER FOR THIS SET UP "OPPOSITES ATTRACT"
