Plug the Record player into the phono input and then grab a record output from one of the 'tape' busses. Plug that into your computer and your away. Because a lot of Amp manufacturers have ommited a phono input stage on their amps, you can buy a phono to line convertor from most Hi-Fi shops. Don't spend tons on an audiophile level one, just get a good brand at a good price, that will do 99.9% of us. The likelyhood is you have an Amp with a phono stage otherwise you wouldn't be able to play your records...!
