The RMS default for Goldwave seems to be 2000. Can I for instance change the RMS of a file to say 3000 to match that of other new levels. There seems to be great debate as to what is the actual KPS for CD quality. What is the general consenus on this. 128kpb seems to be quoted a lot. Since MP3 cannot be restored to original, what would be the point of changing 128kps to 160 after downloading. Wouldn't the 128kps file be stripped of any possiblity of increasing the quality to 160. I have emailed Goldwave on serveral occasions regarding the RMS functionl but have never received a reply. I don't want to register the program until I completey understand it. I have other questions about Goldwave as well but I'll submit those later. Is there a Goldwave user's site besides the Goldwave home page
