In Reply to: URGENT: NEED HELP TO LISTEN A .WRK FILE!!! posted by Sylvie on June 30, 2001 at 11:00:31: Most people consider it unprofessional to send "Application specific" files when most files can be stored in a universally accessible format. I am not familiar with cakewalk files although it might be worth checking to see if the .WRK file is in fact a little more than just audio. It maybe more or less than that. How big is the file itself?? Best thing is to ask for your friend to give you a standard uncompressed audio file format like .wav/.aif Other than that, I would ask someone nicely on this board if they wouldn't mind loading it into cakewalk and bouncing the file to a wave file for you.
