Recording Problem Posted by Chelle (from: 148.182.160.43) on July 31, 2001 at 01:05:06: Hi, I don't know if anyone has encountered this, I hope someone can help. I am currently running a 20bit Gina Soundcard, with a Korg NX5R sound module with Cubase VST Score 3.7 I sequence the music in midi using the sound module for different sounds (obviously), and then record it into a wav file through the soundcard. Somewhere, I either have a settings or hardward fault, as the right channel is always higher, and there are minor crackles and fuzz on the left side. It's not the speakers, as they work fine in other programs, and the distortions are recorded into the audio file, even when burned and played elsewhere. I don't know where to start to find this problem to correct it. I have been lowering the right channel during recording to compensate, but this is definitely not the best way, and it doesn't get rid of noise problems. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Follow Ups: Same old things...
