In Reply to: recording streaming windows media on a macintosh posted by imac on July 30, 2001 at 18:35:40: You can stream those files through WMA, then you may be able to adjust your MIME settings in your browser to boot up a different program when it receives the file that would usually prompt your mac to boot up WMP. I don't know if this will work or not but I can do it with some streams. I have MACAMP setup to do it and that has a record button that streams radio and net streams onto my HD in a wave file or even direct to MP3. I think it's $15 which can't be sniffed at and there is a demo version so check it out. There maybe other ways I don't know about but this is a better than nothing idea and an introduction to a great application.... Steve...R
