In Reply to: audiocassette to cd burner posted by Joe on August 30, 2001 at 00:11:34: : Is it possible for us to go from audiocassette to cd via burner in our PC? HOW? What soft/hardware do we need? Sure- connect the cassette to your sound card with a stereo cable, record the cassettes (if they hold music you'll want 44.1 16 bit stereo), and then burn the .WAV files you create. My favorite software for this is an all-in-one package called RipEditBurn from www.blazeaudio.com. Usually I need to do some editing (trim silences at the start and stop, add EQ and normalization, etc.) and RipEditBurn lets me do that and then burn without switching programs.
