In Reply to: FOR THE LAST TIME...IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! posted by Andy P on August 31, 2001 at 12:38:25: : As I've said many times before, it's simply not possible to selectively remove particular parts of a track - vocals or instruments. As for inverting the centre channel - what centre channel? Stereo consists of left and right channels, so ho do you get a centre channel from it, and what happens to any instruments that happen to be playing behind the vocalist? : However, if someone would like to prove me wrong, and provide evidence of how this can be done, I'll eat my shoe. : There is a user by the name of Me The Dumb III that said it WAS possible and to ignore anyone who said it wasn't.
