For some months I've been pulling my hair out trying to get my Yamaha AW4416 and my pc to work together. I"m using Fruity Loops for drums, but Fruity won't work as a Midi Time Code slave. So I figure I'll get some sequencer software which does accept MTC to export my loops to. But I can't find anyone in Australia that can offer any advice at all. Yamaha and their dealers are useless, and Fruity Loops and forum were no help. Does anyone know what I need to do - all I want is to be able to press play on my HD recorder (the AW4416) and have my PC drums start playing too. Is this really such a difficult thing to do as it appears? The only software I've been recommended is Cubase, but I'm not spending $800 on VST when I'm not going to use the rest of the program, which in my experience is shite anyway. Please, somebody help!!
