: Please explain what connections you have made with Audio leads and Midi leads first and explain how you are recording the drums into your keyboard. Does it sample or are you using the Sequencer to record the notes themselves....

I have my Korg N364 music workstation midi in connected to my Alesis SR 16 drum machine out.The keyboard has a 16 track midi seqencer, multi effects processor etc. I do not as of yet have a real amp, so I am using an old stereo rec out and the main Aux line on the drum machine for my power/sound source. When I real-time record Midi channel 10, I get hear the drums that I want played being played, but when I playback I can only us the drum combos that are on my N364. How do I keep the drum machines drum sound the same for playback as it does record? So yes in a sense it does sample or record my drum/rythm pattern, but playback is not same sounds. Do I need to try and record drums off my keyboard and try to macth them with pitch bend?
