In Reply to: MIDI Ports - USB Sport or Sound Card Interface posted by Symon on October 30, 2001 at 18:04:00: There isn't much of a reason really other than the Joystick port was originally a work around that went on and on. One thing to note is USB is quite fast for this sort of data transmission and it allows for many more ins and outs than a joystick port. If it works for you at the moment then stick with it until you need more ins/outs.. Steve...R
